The Spirit of the ADA Business of the Year Award recognizes a voluntary action, physical modification, or program by a member of the local business community that goes above and beyond to ensure ease of access to their services for individuals with disabilities. 

The Spirit of the ADA Business of the Year Award recognizes a voluntary action, physical modification, or program by a member of the local business community that goes above and beyond to ensure ease of access to their services for individuals with disabilities. 

The Spirit of the ADA Educational Advocacy award recognizes a support staff member (para professional, school nurse, librarian, etc), teacher, administrator, school district, or educational/extracurricular program that goes above and beyond their typical obligations in service to their students with disabilities.

The Spirit of the ADA Media Advocacy Award recognizes a reporter, media outlet, magazine, or non-traditional communication effort (example: a blog or newsletter) for their positive representation of individuals with disabilities and their reporting on issues of particular concern to the disabilities community. 

The Spirit of the ADA Medical Advocacy Award recognizes a medical professional, institution, or health system that goes above and beyond their typical obligations in service to their patients with disabilities. 

The Spirit of the ADA Nonprofit/Governmental Program of the Year Award recognizes the efforts of a nonprofit or government agency that goes above and beyond their typical obligations to ensure that individuals with disabilities are given equal access to and a fair opportunity to participate in the broader community. 

The Spirit of the ADA Parent Advocate of the Year award recognizes the extraordinary efforts of a parent or guardian on behalf of their minor or adult child with disabilities.
